Herb Walk on Oroklini Mountain

Date: 8th April 2012
Time: 11:00 -13:00
Venue: St. Elias church Oroklini Hill
Join Herbalist Miranda Tringis on a walk in the beautiful surroundings of Oroklini hill, where you will be amazed at the variety of wild herbs that grow there. Learn about the healing properties of plants we see every day but rarely notice. We start at 11 am at the St. Elias church on top of the hill.

The walk is not physically challenging, anyone can join and the distance is not long. As we go along we touch, smell and taste the plants, thus getting to know them up close and personal. We will learn about flavour, energetics and actions of the plants we come across.

Each participant will be given plant profile sheets to record experiential findings, take notes and keep these for future reference.

All you need to bring is a bottle of water and a pen. Do bring your camera, the views from the hill are absolutely stunning!

After the walk we will enjoy some herbal tea and nibbles at CyHerbia herb workshop in Oroklini.

Cost per person: Herb Society members 7 euro, non-members 12 euro.

To book your place call Miranda 99915443 or email miranda@cyherbia.com
