Construction work
 

The Department of Construction of the Municipality of Larnaca informs the public that between 17/09-23/09/2012, the following construction work will be in progress:

  • Pavement repairs on Achilleos, Kouriou and Onasagorou streets.
  • Ditch and pavement repairs on Kato Varosion street.
  • Disabled access ramp installation on Ermou street.
  • Extra drain covers installation on Oskioutar & Kotzia Tepe streets.
  • Premix repairs on Appoloniou Kitieos, Ag. Prokopiou, Aretousis and Kimonos streets.
  • Drain covers cleaning on Melathrou Evgirias and Ag. Lazarou streets.

Finance Department


The Larnaca Municipality Finance Department informs the public that the payments of Refuse Collection Tax, Corporate tax and Business Premises Tax for the year 2012 as well as previous years can be made only at the Larnaca Municipality offices.

 

All tax payments can also be made at any Bank, Coop Bank or online via JCC.

The public should settle their payments to Larnaca Municipality on time and within the given deadlines to avoid added legal and court costs.

Sewerage and Sewage Disposal Works Department

The Department of Sewerage and Sewage Disposal of the Municipality of Larnaca informs the public that between 17/09-22/09/2012, the following construction work will be in progress:

  • Artemidos Avenue: Nikou Dimitriou & Ipeirou and Okkilar and Kotza Tepe streets.

  • Part of the streets: Faneromeni Avenue (from Papadiamanti street to Aristofani – instead of the normal four lanes only two lanes will be open to traffic for this period), Veroias, Ekalis, small part of Georgiou Makri, Estiadon, Evaggelou Floraki and Parou streets.

  • Spetson street (part).

  • Lapithi street.

  • Riga Ferraiou street.

  • Peristiani street.

  • Kerkiras street.

  • Ioannou Pasikrati street.
  • Amarilis street.

  • Pavement repairs (cracks) on Afentrikas and Evaggelou Floraki streets.
  • Disabled access ramp installation on Ermou street.
  • Premix repairs on Aniva Fransi, Kivelis and Ag. Prodromou streets.
  • Drain covers cleaning on Petraki Kiprianou, Xrigalaktousis, Mitropoleos area, Nikodimou Milona streets.

Lapatsa Riding School


Lapatsa Riding School, Tseri, Nicosia (Cyprus), opened nearly 30 years ago and has been the leading equestrian establishment on the Island ever since. It currently teaches riders from beginners to International level in both dressage and show jumping, using its team of staff and hosting clinics with visitors from further all around the world. It’s facilities include indoor and outdoor arenas which regularly host competitions for the Cyprus Equestrian Federation, a purpose built lunging arena and a horse exerciser which is computer programmed, can accommodate up to 12 horses and reach speeds of 40kms/hr when used for racehorses. 

The friendly and welcoming staff are truly international and all bring various skills to Lapatsa, combining together to make sure that both horses and riders are well looked after. Lapatsa also has a working clubhouse which includes an adjoining ambient outdoor courtyard and a separate outdoor equipped children's play area which hosts a miniature paddock housing our three resident Shetland ponies Bubbles, Karma and Chakra and also Maestro our very Cypriot donkey, an ideal location for any private event particularly children's birthday parties, craft fairs, exhibitions, seminars etc or a place to just visit with family and friends to unwind.
