Little Antidote Youth Theatre Presents 'Mugged' by Andrew Payne

Where: American Academy Junior School Theatre
When: Sunday 28th April
Time: 7.30pm -9.00pm

Every day, a group of schoolkids meet up on their way to school and hang out on the benches in the park. And every morning they are faced with the same dilemma: take the short cut to school across the park and risk running into the muggers, or go the long way round and risk being late.

One day, a seemingly ordinary morning turns into a devastating experience for the group of pupils when their walk to school becomes the site of a violent theft. The characters all find themselves having to deal with their feelings of shock and guilt and, as a result, the truth becomes harder to pin down.

Mugged presents a hard hitting analysis of truth, friendship and the media; where a seemingly straightforward crime becomes shrouded in ambiguity and confusion.
