WORKS

The Technical Department of the Municipality informs the public that among 02 - 09/09/2013 the following structures will be conducted:

• Maintenance of old Municipal Residential
• Work involved in moving a file and stores the Municipality of Larnaca
• Rebuilding space monument Kimonos Europe Square
• Reconstruction of sidewalks in Pattichion Municipal Auditorium
• Repair Sidewalks in the city
• Cleaning racks / culverts in various parts of the city

FINANCE DEPARTMENT

The Economics Department of Larnaca Municipality informs the public that there have been sent notices for Rights chaff, tax professional and licensed professionals premises for 2013.
Payments can be made in all the Banks, Cooperative Societies, through JCC and online.

The public should trim its debts to the Larnaca Municipality time within the specified time frame.

WASTE WATER PROJECTS

Larnaca Sewerage Board informs the public that between 02 - 09.09.2013 construction works will be carried out at the following streets :

• Part of Leonidas Kiouppi from over by King George until roundabout old G.S.Z.
• Street Koca Tepe at the height of the passage to Istanbul.
• Ariadne Street (behind tennis "Antonis Papadopoulos ").

URBAN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES
The "Mediterranean Network for the promotion of sustainable urban strategy and three new urban strategies (USUDS)", has been approved by the European Programme ENPICBCMED and will last approximately 20 months.

• Ανακατασκευή χώρου μνημείου Κίμωνος στην Πλατεία Ευρώπης 
• Ανακατασκευή Πεζοδρόμιων στο Παττίχειον Δημοτικό Αμφιθέατρο 
• Επιδιορθώσεις πεζοδρομιών στην πόλη 
• Καθάρισμα σχαρών/οχετών σε διάφορα σημεία της πόλης 

ΟΙΚΟΝΟΜΙΚΟ ΤΜΗΜΑ 
Το Οικονομικό Τμήμα του Δήμου Λάρνακας, πληροφορεί το κοινό ότι για το έτος 2013 έχουν αποσταλεί οι ειδοποιήσεις για τα Δικαιωμάτων Σκυβάλων, Επαγγελματικού Φόρου και Αδειών Επαγγελματικών Υποστατικών. Πληρωμές γίνονται σε όλες τις Τράπεζες, Συνεργατικά Ιδρύματα και μέσω του διαδιχτύου και της JCC.

Για τα δικαιώματα Δημοτικού Φόρου Ακίνητης Ιδιοκτησίας, συνεχίζεται η είσπραξη για το 2012 καθώς και για τα προηγούμενα έτη με προσεπιβάρυνση 10%.

Παρακαλείται το κοινό όπως τακτοποιήσει τις οφειλές του προς το Δήμο Λάρνακας έγκαιρα και μέσα στα καθορισμένα χρονικά περιθώρια.

ΑΠΟΧΕΤΕΥΤΙΚΑ ΕΡΓΑ 
Το Συμβούλιο Αποχετεύσεων Λάρνακας πληροφορεί το κοινό ότι μεταξύ των ημερομηνιών 2 - 8/9/2013 θα διεξάγονται κατασκευαστικά έργα στους πιο κάτω δρόμους:

• Μέρος της Λεωνίδα Κιούππη από πάροδο με Βασιλέως Γεωργίου μέχρι κυκλικό κόμβο παλαιού Γ.Σ.Ζ. 
• Οδός Κοτζά Τεπέ στο ύψος της παρόδου με Ισταμπούλ. 
• Οδός Αριάδνης (πίσω από γήπεδο «Αντώνης Παπαδόπουλος»).

URBAN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES 
Το πρόγραμμα «Μεσογειακό Δίκτυο για την προώθηση της αειφόρου αστικής στρατηγικής και οι τρεις νέες στρατηγικές αστικής ανάπτυξης (USUDS)", έχει εγκριθεί από το Ευρωπαϊκό Πρόγραμμα ENPICBCMED-και θα διαρκέσει 20 μήνες περίπου.

CYHerbia Halloween Party

CyHerbia gardens and nature park is situated in the village of Avgorou, and includes a beautifully landscaped herb garden, woodland area with the endemic trees and shrubs of Cyprus, and the first and only maze (2000 sq.m.) of the island.

Directions to the herb garden: From Nicosia/Larnaca, take highway Ayia Napa-Paralimni, take exit 63 Ormidia/ Avgorou by the overhead bridge. Pass Ormidia stadium into the village going right towards the centre. At T-junction where the cafes are turn right, then left, follow signs Avgorou. Pass water reservoirs, another 5 km towards Avgorou you’ll pass Sarris supermarket. 300 m. after Sarris turn right onto the stone road leading to the herb garden after 1 km.

From the Paralimni—Ayia Napa areas, head for the village of Frenaros, taking the road to Liopetri. Just out of Frenaros take the right turn to Avgorou. Head into the village keeping the cemetery on your left, turn left at the main street junction. Follow this road through the center of the village towards Ormidia. As you leave Avgorou, take the white stone road on the left after the second speed bump. There will be signs posted so keep an eye out!
